You Got Whatever It Is...

In January, Todd and I had the chance to go see Zac Brown Band at Wild Bills.  Zac is one of Todd's fraternity brothers and we used to go out every Thursday night when we were in college to hear Zac play at Taco Mac!  This night really brought back a lot of great memories that Todd and I shared in college.  We had a great time and saw a lot of people that we went to college with.  We gave Stewart and Brooke tickets to the concert for Christmas along with a night in Atlanta by themselves-I think they enjoyed it:)  Here are some pictures from our fun night!

*sorry for the poor quality of the photos but it was really dark inside of Wild Bill's and I did not have my good camera with me as it is just too big to carry around sometimes!

Carter Earns His Sight Word Medal!

In January, Carter earned his sight word medal for learning all of his Kindergarten sight words!  We were so very proud of him for being one of the first ones in his class to earn the coveted prize!  Way to go Carter!

Tennessee Christmas

Christmas would not be complete without spending time with our family from Tennessee.  This year we decided to have the Beeler family Christmas celebration after Christmas Day.  It turned out to be very nice and we didn't feel so rushed to do things.  We went to Chattanooga this year as Todd's cousin, Ashley and her husband Cos were expecting their first child and we didn't want her to have to travel much.  Everyone had a great time, especially the great grandchildren.  Carter and Jackson love playing with their cousin Chase and always look forward to times when they can see each other again!  Enjoy the pictures from our weekend!

We are not too sure of what happened, but Saturday night, when Todd and I went to go to bed, we noticed that Carter and Jackson were sleeping like this.  They were supposed to be on the air mattress!  We couldn't help but laugh!  Sorry for the fuzzy pictures but it was completely dark in the room when I took the pictures!

Christmas Morning 2008

Once again, Santa was way too good to our boys!  They got quite a spread for Christmas!  While they had asked for several different things throughout the holiday season, we asked them to name one thing that they would most like to have.  Carter said a laptop, Jackson said a blue Nintendo DS, and Cooper wanted a golf cart.  So, with this list in hand, Mommy and Daddy went and talked to Santa and his elves and they said that they would see what they could do.  The boys were all very happy when they woke up Christmas morning!  Here are some pictures from our morning for you to enjoy!

Jackson takes a look at one of the Spiderman toys he got-notice his blue DS in the right hand corner of the picture-it took him a little while to even notice it!
Jackson loved his Batman cave that he got-he still hadn't noticed the DS at this point!

Carter couldn't wait to hook his computer up!

Christmas Eve 2008

We had a blast this year on Christmas Eve.  Mimi and Didi, BeBe, Stu Stu, their boys and Mack Daddy all came over to open presents.  Once again, the boys got way too much stuff!  It was so nice to spend time with our family and to celebrate the true reason why we celebrate Christmas!  Here are some pictures from our night:

Jackson got an Iron Man costume from BeBe and Stu Stu-he could not wait to put it on!

Iron Man...I mean, Jackson, in action!

Mimi and Didi got the boys a new train table!  They loved it!
Todd and I gave Will and Mason miniature Georgia helmets personally
autographed by Vince Dooley!

Didi ended the festivities by reading "T'was The Night Before Christmas"...
Cooper kept eating Santa's cookies, so...
we decided to take a final picture without him!
