On October 30th, Cooper half-heartedly said goodbye to his bottle once and for all. He was all for throwing it into the trash can until it came time for him to go nite-nite, then he asked for it several times. I told him that he had thrown his bottle away and that it had now gone bye bye. Surprisingly, he did not put up much of a fuss and accepted the fact that he would not have a bottle anymore. Of course I was very proud of him for being such a big boy but inside, my heart was breaking knowing that my sweet baby was growing up way too fast! It is very hard for me to accept the fact that I will never have another baby in my house that takes a bottle (at least for any extended period of time!)
