This year we trimmed the tree a little early because the boys decided that they wanted a chance to enjoy looking at our tree more! The night that we put it up the boys were full of anticipation. It was so funny to see them being so careful while unwrapping each ornament, sorting them each into piles, and then being so particular as to which ornaments they hung first, second, etc. They were extra cautious in deciding where each ornament would be placed on the tree. They did a much better job this year of hanging ornaments all around the tree and not just in one certain spot. Carter was a great help in hanging ornaments high and Jackson and Cooper did a wonderful job of decorating the bottom of the tree. When it was all said and done, we stood in front of our tree for several minutes and admired their beautiful work. Here are some pictures from our tree trimming adventure! Enjoy!!
Carter got the chance to hang the first ornament this year. He hung his baby ornament, which is the first ornament that he always hangs.
Jackson went next and hung the ornament that he always hangs first-his baby ornament!
Finally, with the help of Daddy, it was Cooper's turn to hang his first ornament
(yes, it was his baby ornament as well!)
