Tennessee Christmas 2007

This year we decided to have Christmas with the Beelers after Christmas. We went up to Nashville on Thursday after Christmas and stayed until Sunday. We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone. Here are some pictures from our trip!

Here, Mamaw gets some special time with Cooper!

Jackson can hardly wait to see what is inside this present

Ashley and Carter help Jackson open this present...Jackson is so excited to see that it is Spiderman stuff!

Cooper was more excited about this box than he was his actual gifts

Cooper had a slight problem, he couldn't figure out how to carry his box while he was crawling so he decided to let his mouth hold it for him!

Carter enjoyed sitting in the inflatable Blue's Clues chair while opening his presents

The hit of the night for Jackson, his Power Rangers helmet!

Carter absolutely loved his Transformers helmet! He didn't want to take it off the rest of the weekend!

Cooper enjoyed playing with his musical caterpillar!

Cooper loved all the extra attention that he got over the weekend! He really enjoyed sitting with Aunt Bobbi and "talking" to her! Just look at the smile on his face!

Mamaw gets a picture with her sweet boys, Carter, Chase, Jackson and Cooper before we all leave! Cooper did not want to cooperate, though!

Mamaw takes her picture with Ben and his son, Chase, and Todd and his boys, Carter, Jackson, and Cooper.

What a crew! This is the first picture of Mamaw and all of her "babies". From left to right, Ben, Chad, Ashley, Cooper, Mamaw and Todd. In the front, left to right are Chase, Carter and Jackson.

Christmas Morning 2007

My, My, My, Santa sure was good to the Zittrouer family this year! Jackson woke up first this year and was ready to see what Santa brought him! Cooper woke up shortly thereafter and was ready to go downstairs as well. Carter on the other hand, was not as ready to wake up. He wanted to sleep a little longer before seeing what Santa brought him. After some begging and pleading from Jackson, Carter reluctantly woke up to go downstairs (we do not let any of our boys go downstairs until everyone is up and ready to see what Santa brought-this way, they all experience it together!) It was such a special time for us as all three of our boys were able to enjoy the things that Santa brought them. Last year, Cooper was just four days old on Christmas morning. The boys once again got too much and had a hard time deciding what to play with first. Here are some pictures from that morning:

Here's a picture of Jackson's loot (as Todd called it!)

Here's a picture of Carter's spread

Here's a picture of all of the goodies that Santa left for Cooper

Here are the boys coming downstairs to see what Santa left for them

Here's a picture of Carter showing off some of his stuff!

Cooper was fascinated with the magic footprints that Santa left

Jackson loved the Spiderman Sit and Spin that Santa brought!

Here, all the boys explore what Santa left Jackson

Cooper loved playing with a red Lightning McQueen shoe that Santa brought to Jackson (Carter got a pair, too!)

The boys were excited to see that Santa loved the cookies and milk that they left for him. Yes, the reindeer ate all of their food as well!

Here is Cooper showing off his activity center that Santa brought him. It is an absolute lifesaver and makes mommy feel better knowing that he can't get into too much trouble in there-now that he is exploring everything in the house, this is a major concern for mommy!

Santa brought one additional present to Carter and Jackson-he just decided to leave it outside!

Here Jackson and Carter test drive their new ride!

After we looked at everything that Santa brought, we loaded up and went to Mimi and Didi's for Christmas breakfast. Jackson loved "rocking away" to Guitar Hero-one of Mason and Will's favorite gifts!

We hope that your Christmas was just as much fun as ours was!

Christmas Eve 2007

Christmas Eve this year was full of energy. We had it at our new house and it was very memorable for all of us. Jackson was too cute this year. He really got into the Christmas Spirit and was so full of excitement and wonder! Isn't it great to experience Christmas through the eyes of a child? Carter of course was an old pro-he knew exactly what to do. Cooper was very curious about everything-he had no clue what was going on exactly. Here are some pictures from our wonderful day:

Jackson was so ready to open presents that I didn't even have time to grab my camera before he had opened almost all of his presents. Here he is opening his favorite present-a Spiderman chair that makes sounds when you put your hands in the gloves to
sling webs.

Cooper liked the wrapping paper and bows more than the presents themselves

Here is a picture of the Georgia Bulldog rocking horse, er dog, that Mimi and Didi gave him-it is carved totally out of one piece of wood. What an awesome present!

Here is a picture of Cooper riding on his bulldog for the first time and loving it!

Carter loved opening presents! He really appreciated his gifts more this year!

Carter loved the art easel that Mimi and Didi gave him. Watch out Picasso, here he comes!

Every year Didi reads 'Twas The Night Before Christmas to the boys. It is a tradition that started when Ross and Hunter were little boys. It is really a great way to end the night!

Carter, Jackson and Cooper put cake and milk out for Santa and also left out some Reindeer food for Rudolph (and the other reindeer, of course!)

Christmas Cookies

Making Christmas cookies is a tradition that has been in my family for generations. It is so much fun for me to share in this tradition with my boys! This year we made cookies at Mimi's house along with Ross, Hunter, Mason and Will. By the time we were finished, flour and food coloring were everywhere! The boys all had a great time! Here are some pictures of our little chefs at work!
Jackson loved cutting his cookies out of the dough!

Carter managed to get more flour on his face than he did his cookie dough!

Jackson proudly shows off his creations!

Ross works hard on his masterpieces!

Will can't decide what to make next

Carter takes a time out to look at the camera!

Jackson hard at work

Cooper decides to try the cookie dough before making his cookies

Cooper decided to make a Christmas tree for his first ever Christmas cookie!

Doesn't it look beautiful?

Hunter is almost finished with his cookies

Mason paints different colors on his cookies

Once they were finished, Jackson decided to try one of his masterpieces. He LOVES chocolate chips and couldn't wait to dig in!

YUMMY!!

A Stone Mountain Christmas

This year instead of going to Callaway Gardens, we decided to go to Stone Mountain. My boys are really into trains and wanted to visit the Polar Express exhibit that they had there. We had a wonderful time! It really helped to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
