Fun on the Farm

The last weekend in October, we packed up and headed down to South Georgia for a family reunion with Todd's Dad's side of the family.  The boys had a wonderful time playing down on the farm!  They love all of the tractors, hay bales, animals and adventures that they have there!  All the way there, they kept wanting to know how much longer it would be before we would be there and they could play with their cousin, Britin.  We all had a great time visiting with one another and all got very full from eating the yummy low country boil that Uncle Grady fixed!  Here are some pictures from our visit:

Uncle Carroll graciously agreed to take Carter, Jackson and Britin on a tractor ride.  Carter says that a tractor isn't a real tractor unless it's a John Deere!
His great uncles really loved this!
Carter loves playing on all of the hay bales that they have on the farm.  It is too funny that he calls them "hay barrels"!
Carter and his cousin Britin loved posing for pictures on the hay bales!
Cooper liked sitting on the hay bales for all of three minutes before he wanted to get down to go exploring some more!
Jackson really liked pretending he was Spiderman while he was on the hay bales.  Here he stops to shoot a pretend web at mommy!
Cooper liked meeting his new cousin, Ayden.  He even shared a kiss with him which is rare for him to do these days!  He kept saying "baby, baby, my baby..." It was so sweet!
Todd and his cousin Jeremy played a friendly game of ladderball when the Georgia game would go to commercial break!
Uncle Carroll really thrilled the children when he picked up a hay bale and went into the fields to feed the cows!  Carter and Jackson still talk about this!  They really had a blast!

Baseball Birthday!

GO YANKEES!

Jackson played the game of his life the night of his birthday!  He played wonderfully in the outfield and hit the ball like a pro!  He even got a very special treat at the end of the game!  Here are some pictures from his big game!

Here Jackson fields one of the many balls that he got to that night!
Daddy helps direct Jackson to where the should throw the ball.  Jackson did great playing the circle and really liked being part of the action!

Our little slugger waiting to bat for the first time during the game!
Wow!  What a hit!

To top off the evening, Jackson got the game ball!  Way to go, Jackson!!
What a way to end a wonderful birthday celebration!!

Jackson's School Birthday

Jackson celebrated his school birthday on his actual birthdate, October 21st.  Mommy was extra excited as she got to go to school to celebrate with him, since she had just had gall bladder surgery!  Daddy got to celebrate with him as well, so that made it even more special!  His teachers and classmates really helped to make his birthday one that he will remember forever.  He loved his Transformers cupcakes that BeBe made for him and even liked wearing the birthday crown that Ms. Angie gave him!

Jackson stopped playing just long enough for me to make a quick picture with his teachers, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Angie!

Jackson even took a quick time out to pose for a picture with Mommy!
Jackson liked posing for a picture with his Daddy!
Jackson loved sharing his cupcakes with his friends, especially his best buddy, Rhett, who had to sit beside him for his party!
YUMMY!!
